Welcome to the Super Smash Karts webpage.

Super Smash Karts is an unofficial game created by the Moulinoski. The game uses a combination of Super Smash Bros. craziness with traditional tank battle madness and Kirby's Air Ride control scheme. Please check the "About" tab for more information on this game!

March 26, 2009: Settled on Mediafire. I'm currently uploading my more favorable programs on Mediafire. Unless you just happen to stumble into this website at this very instant (7:25 PM Eastern Time) or within 10 minutes of this writing, the change has already been done.

March 26, 2009: I never meant to add in another update to this website but a recent circumstance has popped up. Filefront, the website which hosts the downloads on this website, is closing up starting March 30. Here's the actual article:

Dear FileFront User:

We regret to inform you that we are forced to indefinitely suspend the FileFront site operations on March 30, 2009. If you have uploaded files, images or posted blogs, or if you would like to download some of your favorite files, please take this opportunity to download them before March 30th when the site will be suspended.

We would like to give a warm thank you to all of you who have been part of the FileFront communities we have built together. Your support has had a meaningful impact for all of us here at FileFront. Again, we want to give you a sincere “thank you” for your support over the years and wish you all the very best.

Keep gaming alive,

FileFront Management and Team.

Therefore that means that none of the downloads in this website will function from that point on unless I find another website which can host my downloads. I'll try to do so soon so there's no "down time" for downloads.

In unrelated news, I'm creating an unofficial Super Robot Wars real-time strategy game. The game's currently in the "pre-alpha" stage where I'm still figuring out what mechanics to put in, what designs and elements to use, and basically still playing around with ideas. The featured shows are already set on stone though:

  • Mazinkaiser
  • The Big O (Both Seasons)
  • Neon Genesis Evangelion (Original serial, Rebuild 1.0, and End of)
  • New Getter Robo
  • Mobile Suit Gundam
  • Z Gundam
  • Gundam ZZ
  • Gundam Seed
  • 8th Mobile Suit Team Gundam
  • Zambot 3
  • Toppa Tengen Gurren Lagann
  • Transformers The Movie (1986)

Most of the series I'm using have already been localized in America (Mazinkaiser, Big O, Evangelion, the Gundams, New Getter Robo, and Gurren Lagann) and the one robot show no SRW game will ever likely see, Transformers, which is largely American. If I get this game off the ground, I will make a website for it just like I did for Super Smash Karts. For the time being, the game is going to be called Super Robot Scramble Command although I'm thinking of changing it to Super Robot Commander to reduce confusion with the Banpresto made SRW RTS Super Robot Wars: Scramble Commander (which is good and I highly recommend it to anyone who likes giant robots and doesn't mind or can understand Japanese). I'm also thinking of hopefully making this game Bilingual or even Trilingual with the selected languages being English, Japanese, and Spanish (from level of definitely to possibly not).

If I do manage to pull through with this game, I hope that with it, a level of interest will emerge within America for giant robots, although I'd be even more pleased with myself if giant robot shows become popular all over the world. I'm even thinking of writing a series of books based on three (of four planned) giant robot games which were all original. Since I doubt my video game design career will go off anytime soon, I decided to remake the stories in book format, and hopefully fleshing out the final (somber) installment in the series. That, however, will be sometime in the future.

I've also been thinking of making a super robot web comic along the lines of 8-bit Theater (except that it wouldn't aim at being comedic), either using custom sprites or my actual artwork. I might do that sometime in the future... If time permits; I'm going to start my senior year at college this year.

January 30, 2009: Added in "How to Make A Custom Character" in the Custom Characters page in the Downloads section. Also, fixed the year in this very page (December 31, 2008 then went to January 5, 2008?! Oops!)

January 12, 2009: Forgot to mention that Super Smash Karts should now be compatible with Vista.

January 5, 2009: This is it, enjoy. Manual still needs to be changed. Six custom characters have been added (check the downloads tab).
